The Standard three phase vertical bus-bars provided are of high conductivity, electrolytic grade copper Recent developments aimed at making the enclosure more cost-effective have seen the introduction of aluminum vertical bus-bars rated for 600A. These vertical droppers are provided with round edges for ease of contract insertion. They run in an enclosed chamber located behind the feeder compartment.

The vertical bus chambers is the heart of the Draw-out System, it is totally enclosed to prevent the entry of dust & vermin. The vertical bus-bars are accessible only after the removal of the feeder trolleys & the front FRP shroud. These vertical bus-bars are free of joints, thereby avoiding any holes, bolting of connections is also avoided making them maintenance free. FRP vertical bus supports are provided through the length of the bus chamber at a distance of 100mm from each other.
